Zdzislaw Brzakala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sören Åkerman in the 51st minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that James Parrondo couldn't finish the play. 61 minutes into the game, Kalthagen's Edward Maziarz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Radowit Zawada made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. 65 minutes into the match, Kalthagen's goal looked a bit too open when Bartlomiej Porajewski came free, but Zdzislaw Brzakala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
