Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominik Pruss in the 4th minute of play forced GÓRNIK ZABRZE's goalkeeper Florian Marciewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Napoleon Czerwinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antoni Parzysz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florian Marciewicz having to interfere. After 12 played minutes CWKS Legia got a freekick which was hit by Dominik Pruss. An unexpectedly hard shot by Przemyslaw Del Piero in the 22nd minute of play forced CWKS Legia's goalkeeper Mariusz Mielak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Przemyslaw Del Piero dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mariusz Mielak, 2-0. In the 27th minute, Przemyslaw Del Piero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GÓRNIK ZABRZE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After 31 minutes of play, CWKS Legia's Dominik Pruss made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Florian Marciewicz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Unax Marcos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariusz Mielak having to interfere. Florian Marciewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Napoleon Czerwinski in the 35th minute of the match. CWKS Legia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Damazy Zawaski in the 37th minute. It was a well-played corner which Napoleon Czerwinski managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 42nd minute GÓRNIK ZABRZE were awarded a corner. Przemyslaw Del Piero went to the cornerflag to take it. Yngve Björklund made a great header on GÓRNIK ZABRZE's corner, it was just that CWKS Legia's Mariusz Mielak managed to reach the ball for a save. CWKS Legia's Mariusz Mielak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Przemyslaw Del Piero in the 45th minute of play. Ludomir Barowicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antoni Parzysz to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in CWKS Legia's zone, Przemyslaw Del Piero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mariusz Mielak came out of the goal and Przemyslaw Del Piero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mariusz Mielak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yngve Björklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute CWKS Legia were awarded a corner. Damazy Zawaski went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Damazy Zawaski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Florian Marciewicz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mariusz Mielak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Przemyslaw Del Piero, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Ludomir Barowicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Florian Marciewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ludomir Barowicz struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Florian Marciewicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CWKS Legia. Florian Marciewicz was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Napoleon Czerwinski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Napoleon Czerwinski really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. CWKS Legia's Mariusz Mielak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Unax Marcos in the 78th minute of play. Florian Marciewicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antoni Parzysz in the 79th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Przemyslaw Del Piero in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mariusz Mielak saved CWKS Legia from getting behind. 85 minutes into the match, CWKS Legia's goal looked a bit too open when Yngve Björklund came free, but Mariusz Mielak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florian Marciewicz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antoni Parzysz went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. CWKS Legia made a substitution. Robert Pliszka replaced Napoleon Czerwinski. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kajetan Duszenski in the 93rd minute of play forced CWKS Legia's goalkeeper Mariusz Mielak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Despite being the better team, GÓRNIK ZABRZE failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
