The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miguel Chesus to strike the kick off in the second half. Mattias Nyström kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After 57 played minutes Griffins got a freekick which was hit by Marcin Cerocki. Stanislaw Kuszczak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wlodzimierz Tyskie in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wlodzimierz Tyskie in the 88th minute of play forced Griffins's goalkeeper Stanislaw Kuszczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
