Cuiavia Bydgoszcz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zdzislaw Marczyniec was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 8thth minute of the game Zdzislaw Marczyniec who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ziętek's Jacek Olejniczak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by 倪源迪 in the 10th minute of play forced Ziętek's goalkeeper Jacek Olejniczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cuiavia Bydgoszcz's Sydney Pena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Cuiavia Bydgoszcz from getting a goal against them. Cuiavia Bydgoszcz's Sydney Pena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeusz Tyskie in the 14th minute of play. Jacek Olejniczak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 倪源迪, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. With a little luck, Cuiavia Bydgoszcz's Sydney Pena got control of the ball when Costel Costeiantu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner ended in Juliusz Dres almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cuiavia Bydgoszcz's Sydney Pena did a great save. 35 minutes into the match, Cuiavia Bydgoszcz's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeusz Tyskie came free, but Sydney Pena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Cuiavia Bydgoszcz's zone, Juliusz Dres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sydney Pena came out of the goal and Juliusz Dres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Cuiavia Bydgoszcz getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Piotr Tarka hit a great ball. Sydney Pena acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 44th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Juliusz Dres. Cuiavia Bydgoszcz's Sydney Pena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maksymilian Pankowski in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 倪源迪 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 倪源迪s short, quick shot in the 51stth minute got Jacek Olejniczak to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cuiavia Bydgoszcz's Fabian Adamczak quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Wojciech Huk, made in the 55th minute of the game. Sydney Pena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeusz Tyskie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maksymilian Pankowski in the 60th minute of play forced Cuiavia Bydgoszcz's goalkeeper Sydney Pena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Cuiavia Bydgoszcz getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Zbyszek Warka hit a great ball. Ziętek made a substitution. Olaf Ogrodowicz replaced Zbigniew Nakoneczny. The supporters of Ziętek booed when Cuiavia Bydgoszcz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zbyszek Warka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wlodzimierz Blochowiak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sydney Pena having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Tadeusz Tyskie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sydney Pena was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After a rather tough play, Cuiavia Bydgoszcz's Zdzislaw Marczyniec got a free kick in the 95th minute. Ziętek's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
