The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Remigiusz Dec kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. In the 3rd minute, Rycerze Klatki Schodowej's Korneliusz Filanowski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jean Mota. Jean Mota yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Ermegildo Lastur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rycerze Klatki Schodowej's supporters rose to their feet, but Ermegildo Lastur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jean Mota breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Air Football's Stanislaw Bartochowski got a free kick in the 11th minute. Korneliusz Filanowski struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Jean Mota didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rycerze Klatki Schodowej. Elias Breogan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacek Siwek in the 14th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stanislaw Bartochowski during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Korneliusz Filanowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jean Mota read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. If Korneliusz Filanowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Elias Breogan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hieronim Adamus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hieronim Adamus in the 41st minute of play forced Rycerze Klatki Schodowej's goalkeeper Elias Breogan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Air Football's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Korneliusz Filanowski fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Hieronim Adamus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jacek Siwek made a kick off. Rycerze Klatki Schodowej's Korneliusz Filanowski got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 55th minute Hieronim Adamus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Breogan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Zygmunt Lodowy fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rycerze Klatki Schodowej's protests and gave Zygmunt Lodowy a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Rycerze Klatki Schodowej getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Zygmunt Lodowy hit a great ball. Jacek Siwek's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Elias Breogan firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 62nd match minute, Rycerze Klatki Schodowej was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermegildo Lastur to maneuver through the defense. Ermegildo Lastur's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jean Mota read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Air Football's Stanislaw Bartochowski got a free kick in the 78th minute. If Remigiusz Dec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. Jean Mota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermegildo Lastur, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Air Football's zone, Ermegildo Lastur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jean Mota came out of the goal and Ermegildo Lastur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rycerze Klatki Schodowej's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
