When Bogumil Warka came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Dorren fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bogumil Warka couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Dorren booed when KS Arka Gdynia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patryk Cichocki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexander Tanti's late challenge caught a Dorren's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Edmund Smuskiewicz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Per Kullgren was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. In the 57th minute Romeo Nevada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanislaw Derlanga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bogumil Warka's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Per Kullgren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by KS Arka Gdynia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
