If Lucian Covataru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Antal Valentin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dedé Alves was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Ciuvică in the 25th minute of play. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Hegedus Henrik hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the game, Daniel Encuțescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UFC Mahmudie's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hungary the free kick. Daniel Encuțescu kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Major Barna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dedé Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 32nd minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Hungary's Major Barna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dedé Alves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurențiu Cinteză in the 47th minute of play. The UFC Mahmudie players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hungary were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucian Covataru to strike the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Laurențiu Cinteză came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dedé Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 58th minute of play. Dedé Alves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 67th minute. Laurențiu Cinteză received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. UFC Mahmudie's Sandu Alexa was substituted for Laurențiu Cinteză. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandu Alexa in the 76th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Szekeres Tamas kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. UFC Mahmudie's Daniel Encuțescu suffered a concussion in the 79th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Major Barna's late challenge caught a UFC Mahmudie's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Major Barna helped the player get up and apologised. Major Barna hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute Sandu Alexa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fodor Daniel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sandu Alexa went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dedé Alves having to interfere. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Anastasiu's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Anastasiu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 90th minute there was a penalty for Hungary. Antal Valentin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dedé Alves. 1-3. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sandu Alexa's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hungary's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gelu Dragomir was slow to take the kick. During this time UFC Mahmudie's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Gelu Dragomir almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel did a great save. A collision led to UFC Mahmudie getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Gelu Dragomir hit a great ball. Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Dedé Alves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary.
