Gliwicka Torcida's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabian Bator was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quique Moreno in the 57th minute of play forced Róża Wiatrów's goalkeeper Boleslaw Mis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Róża Wiatrów's Boleslaw Mis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Bator in the 59th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wieslaw Prusinowski got free with Claudinho Taffarel in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Quique Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boleslaw Mis having to interfere. Claudinho Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Türker Camcıoğlu in the 68th minute of play. Iwan Pankowski hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Boleslaw Mis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gliwicka Torcida.
