After 4 minutes KS Piastów Sosnowiec's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bernard Kornaszewski who took care of the corner kick. When Brygada RR's Rafal Rudnyak in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KS Piastów Sosnowiec's goalie prevented a goal. Tomasz Piwko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafal Rudnyak in the 8th minute of play. Stelian Joldea kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After 14 minutes KS Piastów Sosnowiec's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bernard Kornaszewski who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Tymoteusz Witek managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Beltza in the 21st minute of play forced Brygada RR's goalkeeper Walery Dresik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomasz Piwko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafal Rudnyak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wasyl Flis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomasz Piwko having to interfere. 29 minutes into the game, Brygada RR's Herbert Wojtkiewicz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomasz Piwko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Walery Dresik made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Reşat Rasif sent off a good shot on target. When Brygada RR's Herbert Wojtkiewicz in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KS Piastów Sosnowiec's goalie prevented a goal. KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Tomasz Piwko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Wojtkiewicz in the 38th minute of play. The supporters of KS Piastów Sosnowiec booed when Brygada RR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wasyl Flis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute Wasyl Flis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomasz Piwko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomasz Piwko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tymoteusz Witek in the 42nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafal Rudnyak in the 43rd minute of play forced KS Piastów Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Tomasz Piwko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Brygada RR's goalkeeper Walery Dresik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reşat Rasif. Reşat Rasif struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Walery Dresik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KS Piastów Sosnowiec. After the first half Brygada RR were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Tymoteusz Witek struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Tomasz Piwko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brygada RR. Marcin Kondysar hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. If Tymoteusz Witek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 57 played minutes Brygada RR got a freekick which was hit by Tytus Dudek. In the 68th minute Stelian Joldea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walery Dresik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Reşat Rasif sped through Brygada RR's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Walery Dresik. After some careless play in the Brygada RR defense, Reşat Rasif kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Walery Dresik. The Brygada RR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Walery Dresik should have stopped the shot. KS Piastów Sosnowiec made a substitution. Cyryl Penkalski replaced Marcin Kondysar. In the 84th minute Brygada RR were awarded a corner. Bernard Kornaszewski went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Bernard Kornaszewski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tomasz Piwko quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tomasz Piwko made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Tymoteusz Witek sent off a good shot on target. Tomasz Piwko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafal Rudnyak in the 88th minute. In the 89th minute Mariusz Zgonina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walery Dresik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Tytus Dudek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute, Apolo Beltza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Hieronim Winszman got a free kick in the 95th minute. Rafal Rudnyak struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Tomasz Piwko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brygada RR. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The KS Piastów Sosnowiec fans cheered their team off the field, for while Brygada RR had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
