After some careless play in the GKS Bełchatów defense, Hadi İltay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hardy Mur. The GKS Bełchatów fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hardy Mur should have stopped the shot. If Hadi İltay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 10 minutes into the match, GKS Bełchatów's goalkeeper Hardy Mur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hadi İltay. After a rather tough play, ZŁ Bielsko-Biała's Auke Wilbrink got a free kick in the 13th minute. 37 minutes into the match, GKS Bełchatów's Akakios Koffidis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pankracy Solarek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of ZŁ Bielsko-Biała booed when GKS Bełchatów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Napoleon Czeberowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 54 minutes GKS Bełchatów's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hakan Ünsal who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Hakan Ünsal almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but GKS Bełchatów's Hardy Mur did a great save. Akakios Koffidis scored 1-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pankracy Solarek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 67 minutes into the match, ZŁ Bielsko-Biała's goal looked a bit too open when Dariusz Gollob came free, but Pankracy Solarek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teobald Harasimowicz got free with Pankracy Solarek in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pankracy Solarek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Akakios Koffidis in the 73rd minute of the match. Teobald Harasimowicz's late challenge caught a ZŁ Bielsko-Biała's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teobald Harasimowicz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th match minute, GKS Bełchatów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobald Harasimowicz to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hadi İltay in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hardy Mur saved GKS Bełchatów from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hadi İltay in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hardy Mur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hardy Mur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hadi İltay, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. ZŁ Bielsko-Biała's Dobromir Czeszyk was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hardy Mur in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 84th minute ZŁ Bielsko-Biała were awarded a corner. Hakan Ünsal went to the cornerflag to take it. Hardy Mur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hadi İltay's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. After 92 played minutes GKS Bełchatów got a freekick which was hit by Jean Paul Hurtado. Hardy Mur didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Herbert Knopek went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. ZŁ Bielsko-Biała's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
