Robert Wnukowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hieronim Mentis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernando Morientes in the 16th minute. Fernando Morientes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hieronim Mentis came out and tried to block the shot, but Fernando Morientes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eurico Fernandez in the 23rd minute of play forced FC Barlinek's goalkeeper Zachary Komornicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on Radomiak Radom's corner Harry Maguire fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zachary Komornicki quite easily take care of the ball. Robert Wnukowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zachary Komornicki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Radomiak Radom's Juraj Broz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Antonello Bianco, made in the 30th minute of the game. Zachary Komornicki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Wnukowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Robert Wnukowski notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of FC Barlinek's Zachary Komornicki. Zachary Komornicki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Radomiak Radom's Robert Wnukowski got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Robert Wnukowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zachary Komornicki having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Wnukowski in the 46th minute of play forced FC Barlinek's goalkeeper Zachary Komornicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Tolek Komanski made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, FC Barlinek's Fernando Morientes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hieronim Mentis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Radomiak Radom's Robert Wnukowski got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 54th minute, Robert Wnukowski fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. In the 57th minute Fernando Morientes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hieronim Mentis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A wasted opportunity for Radomiak Radom. 60 minutes into the match, FC Barlinek's goalkeeper Zachary Komornicki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robert Wnukowski. Zachary Komornicki made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Robert Wnukowski sent off a good shot on target. When Robert Wnukowski came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Radomiak Radom fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Wnukowski couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, FC Barlinek's Zachary Komornicki got control of the ball when Robert Wnukowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Braulio Llorian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robert Wnukowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Zachary Komornicki made a huge save. Hieronim Mentis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Morientes in the 75th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Robert Wnukowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zachary Komornicki was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Barlinek's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Harry Maguire was slow to take the kick. During this time Radomiak Radom's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Tim Bodenschatz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Barlinek's Zachary Komornicki did a great save. If Robert Wnukowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Morientes in the 91st minute of play forced Radomiak Radom's goalkeeper Hieronim Mentis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernando Morientes took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hieronim Mentis. Hieronim Mentis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Robert Wnukowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Barlinek's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
