Ryszard Wnukowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Klocko in the 6th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Giotis Kourmouzis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jean-Marie Van Landschoot was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind HellBoys Sieradz's goalkeeper Jean-Marie Van Landschoot, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jean-Marie Van Landschoot was a little too slow when Giotis Kourmouzis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 1-0. A collision led to Arsenal getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Artur Faron hit a great ball. HellBoys Sieradz's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Giotis Kourmouzis scored to the left of an out of position Jean-Marie Van Landschoot, making the score, 2-0. In the 40th minute Izydor Smolak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryszard Wnukowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Arsenal's Lukasz Bronder got a free kick in the 42nd minute. With his leg Jean-Marie Van Landschoot managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Arsenal's Giotis Kourmouzis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
The wind increased when Izydor Smolak made the kick off in the second half. Ryszard Wnukowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iwan Glapiak in the 52nd minute. Lucas Pimentel kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind HellBoys Sieradz's goalkeeper Jean-Marie Van Landschoot, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lucas Pimentel hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in HellBoys Sieradz's zone, Giotis Kourmouzis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jean-Marie Van Landschoot came out of the goal and Giotis Kourmouzis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ryszard Wnukowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Klocko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Arsenal's Ryszard Wnukowski got control of the ball when Izydor Smolak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ryszard Wnukowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Klocko, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Ryszard Wnukowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulryk Juchno in the 77th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as HellBoys Sieradz's Ulryk Juchno slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ryszard Wnukowski. That made the score 2-2 after 84 minutes of play. If Lukasz Bronder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ryszard Wnukowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Izydor Smolak in the 93rd minute. Jean-Marie Van Landschoot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lukasz Bronder, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 94th minute, Lukasz Bronder left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arsenal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. HellBoys Sieradz's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
