Cyryl Kaider took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbyszko Wysocki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Stasio Hajduk came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Pogoń Staszów fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stasio Hajduk couldn't finish the play. Leonard Basinski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Modesto Font tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cyryl Kaider made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maciej Zyskowski in the 27th minute of play. Cyryl Kaider showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walery Madej, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Modesto Font breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The wind increased when Tytus Jeziorkowski made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Cyryl Kaider managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when ↖ Sagittarius ↗'s Tytus Jeziorkowski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Modesto Font showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Basinski in the 58th minute of the match. A well-hit corner resulted in Silas Rodrigues heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 63rd minute, Zbyszko Wysocki fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Cyryl Kaider made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tytus Jeziorkowski in the 64th minute of play. Modesto Font showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Basinski in the 66th minute of the match. Cyprian Solibieda kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, ↖ Sagittarius ↗'s goal looked a bit too open when Silas Rodrigues came free, but Modesto Font reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Pogoń Staszów's zone, Maciej Zyskowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cyryl Kaider came out of the goal and Maciej Zyskowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maciej Zyskowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cyryl Kaider having to interfere. After some careless play in the ↖ Sagittarius ↗ defense, Mario Balotelli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Modesto Font. The ↖ Sagittarius ↗ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Modesto Font should have stopped the shot. Silas Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Modesto Font tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cyryl Kaider stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zbyszko Wysocki's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. After 95 played minutes ↖ Sagittarius ↗ got a freekick which was hit by Maciej Zyskowski. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pogoń Staszów fans cheered their team off the field, for while ↖ Sagittarius ↗ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
