In the 7th minute Gösta Söderberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Chilavert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, GrosseLapingen's goal looked a bit too open when Ime Mavros came free, but Marian Chilavert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ime Mavros in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marian Chilavert saved GrosseLapingen from getting behind. Marian Chilavert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ime Mavros, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Cezary Piczak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Christian Abbiati made a huge save. Christian Abbiati showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anastasios Tragas in the 18th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, KANONIERZY's Eduardo Beltran got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 31st minute, Gösta Söderberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gösta Söderberg made a kick off. Marian Chilavert was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gösta Söderberg hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Christian Abbiati made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Hoffmann in the 91st minute of play. The GrosseLapingen manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing KANONIERZY to win.
