Austen Waller was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alfred Kostrzewa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. After 13 played minutes The Irons Chorzów got a freekick which was hit by Ksawery Rutkowski. Alfred Babicki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Austen Waller having to interfere. REVOLTA's Austen Waller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patryk Snaza in the 18th minute of play. Eugeniusz Porajewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Piotr Lech tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in The Irons Chorzów's zone, Fred Ostermann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Piotr Lech came out of the goal and Fred Ostermann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patryk Snaza in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Austen Waller prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Austen Waller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patryk Snaza in the 29th minute of the match. Austen Waller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patryk Snaza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Patryk Snaza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Austen Waller was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fred Ostermann to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, The Irons Chorzów's Maciej Bartelak got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 59th minute Alfred Kostrzewa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Austen Waller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
