Iker Boruc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maciej Gargasz in the 3rd minute of play. In the 6th minute, Gino Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pawel Wierzbicki scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iker Boruc, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Iker Boruc came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by KS Wierna Rzeka's Pawel Wierzbicki. But to his dismay, Pawel Wierzbicki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 20th minute Maciej Gargasz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Boruc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, KS Wierna Rzeka's goalkeeper Anssi Hotakainen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sylwester Zima. When GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's Mieszko Chodzinski in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KS Wierna Rzeka's goalie prevented a goal. Maciej Gargasz took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iker Boruc. Iker Boruc dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Pawel Wierzbicki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sylwester Zima could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Anssi Hotakainen made a huge save. 0-4 became the score in the 43rd minute when Cosimo Benvenuto elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Maciej Gargasz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Boruc having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maciej Gargasz was the one to do the kick off. In the 64th minute, KS Wierna Rzeka's Sebastian Robak ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Iker Boruc. Iker Boruc yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. A collision led to KS Wierna Rzeka getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Pawel Wierzbicki hit a great ball. The GIOVANNI DZIADZIA fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's Sylwester Zima looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Iker Boruc made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Pawel Wierzbicki sent off a good shot on target. When Sergiy Ramos fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's protests and gave Sergiy Ramos a yellow card for diving instead. Sergiy Ramos hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Anssi Hotakainen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remo Paraense, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Pawel Wierzbicki might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iker Boruc. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pawel Wierzbicki ran back to his position shaking his head. If Pawel Wierzbicki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's Iker Boruc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pawel Wierzbicki in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute of the match, Pawel Wierzbicki tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Iker Boruc saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Iker Boruc was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sebastian Robak. KS Wierna Rzeka's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
