The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, one of Radarowcy Szczecin:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Radomir Zurawski had in the 4thth minute some difficulties stopping Dadá do Nascimento's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Leonard Rosen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Niziolek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ryszard Przewozik struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Radomir Zurawski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AA Bełchatów. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind AA Bełchatów's goalkeeper Leonard Rosen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner led Radarowcy Szczecin's Alfred Cielencki to fire away a dangerous shot which Leonard Rosen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Leonard Rosen came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Radarowcy Szczecin's Adam Niziolek. But to his dismay, Adam Niziolek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Przemyslaw Plachetka made in the 20th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by AA Bełchatów's Konrad Klack. AA Bełchatów's Leonard Rosen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Niziolek in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Niziolek in the 24th minute of play forced AA Bełchatów's goalkeeper Leonard Rosen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Radarowcy Szczecin booed when AA Bełchatów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. 忠 杨浩云 didn't get a good kick on the ball. AA Bełchatów's Leonard Rosen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Niziolek in the 28th minute of play. After 30 minutes, Stanislaw Fink mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AA Bełchatów and the Radarowcy Szczecin players grew even worse after the yellow card. Leonard Rosen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Cielencki in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute, one of Radarowcy Szczecin:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Radarowcy Szczecin. 38 minutes into the game, Ryszard Przewozik recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Radomir Zurawski. Ryszard Przewozik showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. AA Bełchatów's attentive Konrad Klack managed to snatch the ball when Narūnas Baltramaitis made a throw-in in the 47th minute of the game. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

A throw-in in the 51st minute of the game was made by Konrad Klack with Tomasz Motowski as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. AA Bełchatów were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Radarowcy Szczecin's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dadá do Nascimento took the corner. Mariusz Basaik was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Leonard Rosen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adam Niziolek in the 56th minute. After 59 minutes of play, Radarowcy Szczecin's Adam Niziolek made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonard Rosen was left in no man's land by his defense there! AA Bełchatów's Valto Virtala was substituted for Aaron Anselmino. Tomasz Motowski took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Radomir Zurawski. Radomir Zurawski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. AA Bełchatów's Leonard Rosen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save AA Bełchatów from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Adam Niziolek kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leonard Rosen. That made the score 3-4 in the 67 minute of play. Leonard Rosen was a little too slow when Adam Niziolek got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 3-5. Radomir Zurawski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valto Virtala, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Radarowcy Szczecin's Radomir Zurawski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryszard Przewozik in the 76th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Radarowcy Szczecin's goal looked a bit too open when Ryszard Przewozik came free, but Radomir Zurawski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Radomir Zurawski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valto Virtala in the 84th minute of play. Leonard Rosen made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Adam Niziolek sent off a good shot on target. In the 91st minute Valto Virtala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radomir Zurawski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, AA Bełchatów's Leonard Rosen got control of the ball when Adam Niziolek tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 94th minute, Adam Niziolek reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leonard Rosen. The goal made the score 3-6. The Radarowcy Szczecin players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
