The audience thought a goal was coming when Isak Lundqvist got free with Sotil Maroto in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sotil Maroto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco van Basten, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 32 minutes into the match, CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's Isak Lundqvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sotil Maroto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner ended in Tymoteusz Wierzcholek almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Besów SSA's Sotil Maroto did a great save. After the first half Besów SSA were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Anton Vaida could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Niculae Romanescu made a huge save.
