Ulryk Drzewucki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karol Tomiczek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zenon Pleban showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Hamberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Ulryk Drzewucki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Tomiczek in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute Legia Warszawa were awarded a corner. Qiu Yang went to the cornerflag to take it. Ulryk Drzewucki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leszek Podwojski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dario Taglieri hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, ŚLĄSK WROCŁAW's Erling Spottag ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zenon Pleban. Zenon Pleban yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. With a little luck, Legia Warszawa's Zenon Pleban got control of the ball when Aaron Hamberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aaron Hamberg was the one to do the kick off. If Axel Lindberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Karol Tomiczek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ulryk Drzewucki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Legia Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Witomir Bondel came free, but Zenon Pleban reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, ŚLĄSK WROCŁAW's goal looked a bit too open when Gu Hong Ang came free, but Ulryk Drzewucki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Hamberg in the 90th minute of play forced Legia Warszawa's goalkeeper Zenon Pleban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wawrzyniec Marajda took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zenon Pleban. Zenon Pleban dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Legia Warszawa's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
