Radowit Sedzikowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marek Pruss's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Cidry Rojca's Ryszard Podolski got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Cidry Rojca's Radowit Sedzikowski got control of the ball when Zenon Mockiewicz tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 47th minute Marek Pruss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radowit Sedzikowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
