In the 14th minute of the match, Beniamin Golembiewski got a very nice opportunity to score, but Braulio Gartxot was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Piast Leszczyny's supporters rose to their feet, but Lefteris Mantas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominik Barowicz in the 91st minute of play forced Red Devils's goalkeeper Braulio Gartxot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Red Devils defense, Dawid Szotek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Braulio Gartxot. The Red Devils fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Braulio Gartxot should have stopped the shot. If Aureliusz Tylenda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute.
