The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Slaytanic Army's Alfred Chludzinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ted Lasso in the 2nd minute of play. Alfred Chludzinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Lasso in the 3rd minute of play. Ján Oblak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Errikos Delioridis in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Slaytanic Army's goal looked a bit too open when Grzegorz Motowski came free, but Alfred Chludzinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ted Lasso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Alfred Chludzinski made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grzegorz Motowski in the 14th minute of play forced Slaytanic Army's goalkeeper Alfred Chludzinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Grzegorz Motowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfred Chludzinski. Slaytanic Army's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Grzegorz Motowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Ted Lasso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alfred Chludzinski. That made the score 2-0 in the 16 minute of play. A collision led to Wittbach SSA getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Daniel Bentkowski hit a great ball. Jedrzej Ikalewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 27th minute, Erwin Rommel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ján Oblak was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 29 minutes into the game, Ted Lasso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Alfred Chludzinski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ted Lasso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfred Chludzinski having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Errikos Delioridis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ján Oblak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ted Lasso in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfred Chludzinski saved Slaytanic Army from getting behind. Ted Lasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Alfred Chludzinski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erwin Rommel was the one to do the kick off. Ted Lasso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfred Chludzinski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Alfred Chludzinski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ted Lasso's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Slaytanic Army's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Grzegorz Motowski was slow to take the kick. During this time Wittbach SSA's players had a chance to rest. Ján Oblak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lis Przecherka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Wittbach SSA fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Wittbach SSA's Ted Lasso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Slaytanic Army's Alfred Chludzinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ted Lasso in the 68th minute of play. Alfred Chludzinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ted Lasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Ján Oblak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lis Przecherka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th match minute, Wittbach SSA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grzegorz Motowski to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the game, Ted Lasso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Alfred Chludzinski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 89thth minute of the game Ted Lasso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Slaytanic Army's Alfred Chludzinski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wittbach SSA were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Slaytanic Army's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Grzegorz Motowski took the corner. The corner ended in Ted Lasso almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Slaytanic Army's Alfred Chludzinski did a great save. 92 minutes into the match, Wittbach SSA's goalkeeper Ján Oblak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Errikos Delioridis. Wittbach SSA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
