In the 10th minute Andrew Carrillos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Boruc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute Victoria Mlawa were awarded a corner. Walter Van Mechelen went to the cornerflag to take it. At last the ball reached Zula Burdzel at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Joga Bonito. 1-0. In the 18th match minute, Victoria Mlawa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olaf Redisz to maneuver through the defense. Kryspin Dembkowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luo Wei Xi went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Joga Bonito:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Victoria Mlawa:s goal. 26 minutes into the match, Zula Burdzel notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Joga Bonito's Artur Boruc. Artur Boruc was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 30 minutes into the match, Joga Bonito's goal looked a bit too open when Olaf Redisz came free, but Artur Boruc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artur Boruc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrew Carrillos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Andy Symons notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Victoria Mlawa's Kryspin Dembkowski. Kryspin Dembkowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Andrew Carrillos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Boruc having to interfere. Victoria Mlawa's Andrew Carrillos got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luo Wei Xi made a kick off. 55 minutes in the game Leonard Czciborek did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ludomil Czaplicki. Artur Boruc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walter Van Mechelen in the 59th minute of the match. Kryspin Dembkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luo Wei Xi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 63 played minutes Joga Bonito got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Czciborek. Kryspin Dembkowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luo Wei Xi in the 68th minute. In the 73rd minute Luo Wei Xi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kryspin Dembkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Walter Van Mechelen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artur Boruc was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Victoria Mlawa's Jurand Lenertej was substituted for Andrew Carrillos. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Joga Bonito's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. After 89 played minutes Joga Bonito got a freekick which was hit by Tolek Turek. Artur Boruc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walter Van Mechelen in the 91st minute of play. Fabian Hoffmann hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. If Kazimierz Golota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Victoria Mlawa booed when Joga Bonito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andy Symons didn't get a good kick on the ball.
