Gustaw Nowak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luo Wei Xi in the 15th minute of the match. Artur Boruc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbyszek Le Bonniec, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Artur Boruc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbyszek Le Bonniec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Joga Bonito's zone, Carlos Manuel Bahamonde stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artur Boruc came out of the goal and Carlos Manuel Bahamonde tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joga Bonito's Artur Boruc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciccio Kowalczyk in the 83rd minute of play. Fabian Hoffmann was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 92 minutes into the match. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
