Joga Bonito's Artur Boruc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Gacki in the 10th minute of play. Artur Boruc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Gacki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute Kapaneus Panayiotopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Boruc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artur Boruc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kapaneus Panayiotopoulos in the 15th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Joga Bonito defense, Kapaneus Panayiotopoulos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Artur Boruc. The Joga Bonito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artur Boruc should have stopped the shot. Fortunato Vino lost his temper 28 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 27th minute, one of Lech Max:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lech Max. When the match had been going on for 30 minutes, Joga Bonito's Alejo Eleazar got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Gwidon Dubilas. After 33 minutes, Andy Symons mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Joga Bonito and the Lech Max players grew even worse after the yellow card. Andy Symons hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Artur Boruc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kapaneus Panayiotopoulos in the 35th minute of play. A collision led to Lech Max getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Nestor Rogel hit a great ball. Joga Bonito's Artur Boruc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Gacki in the 43rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luo Wei Xi in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gwidon Dubilas saved Lech Max from getting behind. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Jan Gacki made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kapaneus Panayiotopoulos got free with Artur Boruc in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Kapaneus Panayiotopoulos put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Artur Boruc. After some careless play in the Lech Max defense, Alejo Eleazar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gwidon Dubilas. The Lech Max fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gwidon Dubilas should have stopped the shot. Gwidon Dubilas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejo Eleazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 70th minute Jan Gacki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Boruc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Joga Bonito's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Norbert Kolacki was slow to take the kick. During this time Lech Max's players had a chance to rest. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan Gacki in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Artur Boruc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 83 minutes into the match, Joga Bonito's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Gacki came free, but Artur Boruc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kapaneus Panayiotopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gwidon Dubilas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnny Ba Loua, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Gwidon Dubilas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klas Jansson in the 91st minute of play. Kapaneus Panayiotopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Artur Boruc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Lech Max supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lech Max would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
