When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Luo Wei Xi took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Gustaw Nowak to make any attempt to save it. Ludomil Czaplicki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joga Bonito's Artur Boruc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tristan Lannister in the 24th minute of play. Artur Boruc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tristan Lannister, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute Tristan Lannister shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Boruc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Joga Bonito's goal looked a bit too open when Zbyszek Le Bonniec came free, but Artur Boruc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tolek Turek ran over to the corner to take the kick. Zbyszek Le Bonniec could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Artur Boruc made a huge save. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Joga Bonito's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner.
