Gwidon Markowski had in the 17thth minute some difficulties stopping Tolek Turek's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by STARGATE TEAM Ruda Śląska's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tolek Turek was slow to take the kick. During this time Joga Bonito's players had a chance to rest. After 19 played minutes Joga Bonito got a freekick which was hit by Andy Symons. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silas Linares got free with Artur Boruc in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Artur Boruc was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Silas Linares showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. Silas Linares who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Artur Boruc when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
