In the 3rd minute, Stanislaw Koczara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boguslaw Kaczanek acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 8th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Piotr Malinowski. Boguslaw Kaczanek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gao Yin Yang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Stanislaw Koczara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cezary Kaczeniak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grzegorz Witwicki in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ergincan Genişyürek in the 16th minute of play forced Edwardów's goalkeeper Cezary Kaczeniak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boguslaw Kaczanek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanislaw Koczara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute of the match Edwardów got a corner. KS Piast Cieszyn's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zhou Rong Hui ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Edwardów's Zhou Rong Hui to fire away a dangerous shot which Boguslaw Kaczanek despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 29 minutes Edwardów's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pacho Maldini who took care of the corner kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gao Yin Yang in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boguslaw Kaczanek saved KS Piast Cieszyn from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Ergincan Genişyürek put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Cezary Kaczeniak. Bartlomiej Adamus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, KS Piast Cieszyn's goal looked a bit too open when Gao Yin Yang came free, but Boguslaw Kaczanek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Bartlomiej Adamus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cezary Kaczeniak. Edwardów's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bartlomiej Adamus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The Edwardów players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. KS Piast Cieszyn were winning 0-2.

In the 51st match minute, KS Piast Cieszyn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pacho Maldini to maneuver through the defense. Boguslaw Kaczanek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils Friberger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cezary Kaczeniak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vittorio Sgarbi in the 59th minute. Edwardów's Cezary Kaczeniak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vittorio Sgarbi in the 62nd minute of play. Ergincan Genişyürek spun around in front of the goal 66 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Edwardów's goal. Boguslaw Kaczanek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gao Yin Yang in the 68th minute of play. If Nils Friberger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bartlomiej Adamus came free with the goalkeeper in the 71st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cezary Kaczeniak could save by the left post. Edwardów's Cezary Kaczeniak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Edwardów from getting a goal against them. 78 minutes into the game, KS Piast Cieszyn's Bartlomiej Adamus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cezary Kaczeniak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. KS Piast Cieszyn made a substitution. Andrzej Gierasik replaced Ergincan Genişyürek. Edwardów's Cezary Kaczeniak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrzej Gierasik in the 83rd minute of play. Andrzej Gierasik might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cezary Kaczeniak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andrzej Gierasik ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 86th minute Lukasz Makomaski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boguslaw Kaczanek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, KS Piast Cieszyn's Best Speed nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cezary Kaczeniak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. With a little luck, Edwardów's Cezary Kaczeniak got control of the ball when Best Speed tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of KS Piast Cieszyn booed when Edwardów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gao Yin Yang didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grzegorz Witwicki kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhou Rong Hui in the 97th minute of play forced KS Piast Cieszyn's goalkeeper Boguslaw Kaczanek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. KS Piast Cieszyn walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
