Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 15 minutes into the match, KS Piast Cieszyn's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Dec came free, but Boguslaw Kaczanek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bartlomiej Adamus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Dariusz Gotfryd made a huge save. Dariusz Gotfryd didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ergincan Genişyürek went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bartlomiej Adamus got free with Dariusz Gotfryd in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vittorio Sgarbi in the 45th minute of play forced MO฿฿YN RANGERS's goalkeeper Dariusz Gotfryd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Ergincan Genişyürek recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dariusz Gotfryd. Ergincan Genişyürek showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ergincan Genişyürek to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind MO฿฿YN RANGERS's goalkeeper Dariusz Gotfryd, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of MO฿฿YN RANGERS booed when KS Piast Cieszyn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vittorio Sgarbi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the KS Piast Cieszyn players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
