Szczepan Fiszer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The corner led Zacisze Częstochowa's Akif Yetik to fire away a dangerous shot which Bogdan Pilarski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Vęgoria Team booed when Zacisze Częstochowa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzalo Firme didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute, Vaggelis Pavlidis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vęgoria Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Zacisze Częstochowa's zone, Vaggelis Pavlidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miroslaw Gollob came out of the goal and Vaggelis Pavlidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gavino Demesio during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 48th match minute, Vęgoria Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavino Demesio to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Vaggelis Pavlidis made the kick off in the second half. Bogdan Pilarski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristo Verdu in the 53rd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Jurand Cempa sped through Vęgoria Team's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bogdan Pilarski. Vęgoria Team were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Zacisze Częstochowa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emre Demir took the corner. If Vaggelis Pavlidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With an all-out effort, Vęgoria Team's Miroslaw Gollob threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vaggelis Pavlidis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gonzalo Firme made in the 70th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Akif Yetik immediately put the ball in play. The crowd rose to their feet as Vaggelis Pavlidis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Miroslaw Gollob. That made the score 1-3 in the 71 minute of play. Jurand Cempa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bogdan Pilarski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Vęgoria Team's goal looked a bit too open when Jurand Cempa came free, but Bogdan Pilarski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zacisze Częstochowa's Miroslaw Gollob played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vaggelis Pavlidis in the 85th minute of play. Vęgoria Team's Roman Sierocki was substituted for Vaggelis Pavlidis. Miroslaw Gollob was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Roman Sierocki showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 92 minute of play. Jurand Cempa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Vęgoria Team supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vęgoria Team would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
