Shadows United's supporters rose to their feet, but Erasmo Clodio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Di Giuseppe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 32nd minute, Anier Ongile made a precise shot to the right of Kurt Björkdahl. Shadows United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Armando Di Giuseppe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erasmo Clodio's shot from short distance in the 36th minute.
