Iggi Kot was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Gdansk36's players had a chance to rest. FC Gdansk36's Iggi Kot was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Brak Gola in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Levente Tunyogi made in the 25th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Iggi Kot. Manuel Oriche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Adam Matysek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Underdogs's Ruud van Nistelrooij got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Underdogs's Ruud van Nistelrooij dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. FC Gdansk36's Adam Matysek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruud van Nistelrooij in the 38th minute of play. Adam Matysek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruud van Nistelrooij in the 40th minute of the match. Ruud van Nistelrooij who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Adam Matysek when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Brak Gola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Piotr Kozlowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Stiff Meister fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Matysek having to interfere. A collision led to FC Gdansk36 getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Levente Tunyogi hit a great ball. Adam Matysek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ruud van Nistelrooij's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Piotr Kozlowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brak Gola having to interfere. If Jan Olisadebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Apostolis Arvanitoyannis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adam Matysek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Apostolis Arvanitoyannis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adam Matysek. FC Gdansk36's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Apostolis Arvanitoyannis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apostolis Arvanitoyannis in the 77th minute of play forced FC Gdansk36's goalkeeper Adam Matysek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Apostolis Arvanitoyannis in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adam Matysek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Underdogs's Brak Gola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Underdogs from getting a goal against them.
