Kacper Mentus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Sunday Niedziela made a huge save. After 8 minutes Emalia Olkusz's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Patryk Kociniewski who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Patryk Kociniewski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sunday Niedziela quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 9 minutes into the match, Underdogs's goal looked a bit too open when Olaf Rawa came free, but Brak Gola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sunday Niedziela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrzej Budzyn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kacper Mentus got free with Sunday Niedziela in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th minute Apostolis Arvanitoyannis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sunday Niedziela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sunday Niedziela made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Andrzej Budzyn sent off a good shot on target. Brak Gola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Innar Laaneloog, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Sunday Niedziela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apostolis Arvanitoyannis in the 41st minute of play. Sunday Niedziela was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Andrzej Budzyn showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 45 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Innar Laaneloog made a kick off. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Emalia Olkusz's goalkeeper Sunday Niedziela, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sunday Niedziela stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ruud van Nistelrooij's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. The Underdogs fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Underdogs's Ruud van Nistelrooij looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sunday Niedziela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kacper Mentus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the game, Kacper Mentus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Sunday Niedziela was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 79th minute, Olaf Rawa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Emalia Olkusz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Apostolis Arvanitoyannis might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sunday Niedziela. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Apostolis Arvanitoyannis ran back to his position shaking his head. The Underdogs fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Underdogs's Ruud van Nistelrooij looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 86 minutes into the match, Ruud van Nistelrooij had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sunday Niedziela. Emalia Olkusz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ruud van Nistelrooij was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. In the 91st minute Kacper Mentus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sunday Niedziela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, James Frankowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 95 minutes, Konstanty Orszak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Underdogs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Konstanty Orszak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emalia Olkusz's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
