Underdogs's Brak Gola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lázaro Prestes in the 5th minute of play. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Underdogs's goalkeeper Brak Gola, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 23rd minute Ruud van Nistelrooij shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Dziuma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruud van Nistelrooij fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iwan Dziuma having to interfere. In the 28th match minute, Underdogs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apostolis Arvanitoyannis to maneuver through the defense. Brak Gola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Prestes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iwan Dziuma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konstanty Orszak in the 35th minute of play. Iwan Dziuma made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Apostolis Arvanitoyannis sent off a good shot on target. After 40 played minutes Underdogs got a freekick which was hit by Lasse Penttilä. After a defensive mix-up in Underdogs's zone, Marin Romoşan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brak Gola came out of the goal and Marin Romoşan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Apostolis Arvanitoyannis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lasse Penttilä hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Underdogs made a substitution. Stiff Meister replaced Kacper Mentus. Underdogs made a substitution. Andrzej Budzyn replaced Ruud van Nistelrooij. Iwan Dziuma was left in no man's land by his defense there! Heide FC made a substitution. Krzysztof Wiater replaced Lázaro Prestes. Underdogs's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
