When Ruud van Nistelrooij came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Underdogs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruud van Nistelrooij couldn't finish the play. In the 9th minute Apostolis Arvanitoyannis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Piszczor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Ruud van Nistelrooij hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgar Piszczor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apostolis Arvanitoyannis, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The supporters of Underdogs booed when Jadymy Durś was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fryderyk Dobrzechowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 17 played minutes, Underdogs's Patryk Kociniewski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edgar Piszczor came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Underdogs reached it. Jadymy Durś's Edgar Piszczor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apostolis Arvanitoyannis in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Apostolis Arvanitoyannis notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Jadymy Durś's Edgar Piszczor. Edgar Piszczor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 25 minutes into the game, Ruud van Nistelrooij cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Edgar Piszczor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edgar Piszczor was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Jadymy Durś's zone, Konstanty Orszak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Piszczor came out of the goal and Konstanty Orszak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute, Apostolis Arvanitoyannis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgar Piszczor was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-8 lead.

The wind increased when Izydor Rakiewicz made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Jadymy Durś's Edgar Piszczor got control of the ball when Ruud van Nistelrooij tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jadymy Durś's Edgar Piszczor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apostolis Arvanitoyannis in the 53rd minute of play. Underdogs's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. Pankracy Cempa charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pankracy Cempa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pankracy Cempa kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. If Apostolis Arvanitoyannis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Walery Marud managed to get in a good position for a shot. Underdogs's supporters rose to their feet, but Walery Marud was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgar Piszczor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Apostolis Arvanitoyannis got free with Edgar Piszczor in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Walery Marud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Piszczor having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Apostolis Arvanitoyannis could shoot a difficult shot in the 72nd minute, which Edgar Piszczor however easily saved by the left post. In the 74th minute, Underdogs's Apostolis Arvanitoyannis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-11. The Underdogs fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Underdogs's Apostolis Arvanitoyannis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-12 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Jadymy Durś's Pankracy Cempa got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 83 minutes into the match, Apostolis Arvanitoyannis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgar Piszczor. In the 89th minute, Underdogs's Andrzej Budzyn ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edgar Piszczor. Edgar Piszczor yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-15. When Underdogs's Apostolis Arvanitoyannis in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jadymy Durś's goalie prevented a goal. Edgar Piszczor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrzej Budzyn in the 96th minute of the match.
