The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. João Vítor do Valle scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Grzegorz Kicia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 7 minutes of play, Reklinek SSA's João Vítor do Valle made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Grzegorz Kicia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pasha Datsiuk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Mariusz Dankowski made a huge save. After 12 minutes Reklinek SSA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Krzysztof Wierzcholek who took care of the corner kick. The corner led RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's Krzysztof Wierzcholek to fire away a dangerous shot which Mariusz Dankowski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mariusz Dankowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pasha Datsiuk in the 14th minute of the match. Reklinek SSA's Mariusz Dankowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Popowicz in the 17th minute of play. If Hendrick Sand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 22 minutes Reklinek SSA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Krzysztof Wierzcholek who took care of the corner kick. Krzysztof Wierzcholek made a great header on RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's corner, it was just that Reklinek SSA's Mariusz Dankowski managed to reach the ball for a save. Grzegorz Kicia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Vítor do Valle in the 25th minute of play. Reklinek SSA's Lech Blochowiak was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Grzegorz Kicia in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pasha Datsiuk in the 33rd minute of play forced Reklinek SSA's goalkeeper Mariusz Dankowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aureliusz Kalinowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hendrick Sand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Grzegorz Kicia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aureliusz Kalinowski to strike the kick off in the second half. Grzegorz Kicia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliusz Kalinowski in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hendrick Sand in the 57th minute of play forced RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's goalkeeper Grzegorz Kicia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute of the match, Aureliusz Kalinowski got a very nice opportunity to score, but Grzegorz Kicia was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Pasha Datsiuk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Mariusz Dankowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Reklinek SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Popowicz came free, but Mariusz Dankowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's Arthur Devos got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Arthur Devos hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After 79 played minutes RW AHLEN-KNURÓW got a freekick which was hit by Roman Miskiewicz. Lech Blochowiak hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the match, Krzysztof Wierzcholek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mariusz Dankowski. Reklinek SSA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Krzysztof Wierzcholek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Grzegorz Kicia came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Reklinek SSA's Witalis Tomaszewski. But to his dismay, Witalis Tomaszewski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Grzegorz Kicia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hendrick Sand went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. The Reklinek SSA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Reklinek SSA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
