Spectators: 7554 (Terracing: 5667, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 150) Stian Strandheim made the kick off and thus started the match. Stian Strandheim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ole-Petter Skjelstad having to interfere. Ole-Petter Skjelstad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stian Strandheim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 11 played minutes Hjørungavåg got a freekick which was hit by Asle Kydland. If Ulf-Hendrik Kleveland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Hjørungavåg's zone, Ulf-Hendrik Kleveland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Skjerping came out of the goal and Ulf-Hendrik Kleveland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Asle Kydland during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 17 played minutes Hjørungavåg got a freekick which was hit by Asle Kydland. After 21 played minutes, Nörva's Chris Bergesen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emanuel Skjerping came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nörva reached it. Remi Sylte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emanuel Skjerping read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hjørungavåg's goalkeeper Emanuel Skjerping, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Nörva getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Jon-Arne Brekken hit a great ball. Ole-Petter Skjelstad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stian Strandheim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuel Skjerping showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulf-Hendrik Kleveland, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Stian Strandheim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Ole-Petter Skjelstad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Hans-Martin Hustveit kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ole-Petter Skjelstad. That made the score 1-0 in the 37 minute of play. Hjørungavåg's Hans-Martin Hustveit got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hans-Martin Hustveit recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Stian Strandheim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Ole-Petter Skjelstad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hans-Martin Hustveit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute Stian Strandheim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ole-Petter Skjelstad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Hjørungavåg getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Asle Kydland hit a great ball. Jon-Arne Brekkens short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Emanuel Skjerping to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 68thth minute of the game Robert Helberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nörva's Ole-Petter Skjelstad was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ole-Petter Skjelstad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Helberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Ole-Petter Skjelstad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stian Strandheim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Hjørungavåg's Stian Strandheim in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nörva's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 76 minutes, Hans-Martin Hustveit managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hjørungavåg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hans-Martin Hustveit was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nörva were furious when Chris Bergesen was red carded, 78 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 77 minutes into the game, one of Nörva:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Stian Strandheim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stian Strandheim took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ole-Petter Skjelstad. Ole-Petter Skjelstad dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0.
