Daniel Vikøren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jo Asheim went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Morten Ludviksen put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Daniel Vikøren. After a defensive mix-up in Brøndby FK's zone, Morten Ludviksen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Vikøren came out of the goal and Morten Ludviksen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Korsmo in the 22nd minute of play forced Hvamsal BK's goalkeeper Christoffer Bjørk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Hvamsal BK's Ronny Hogstad got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Sindre Svanberg scored 1-3 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christoffer Bjørk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Christian Korsmo kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Morten Ludviksen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hvamsal BK reached it. In the 74th minute Morten Ludviksen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Vikøren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brøndby FK's goalkeeper Daniel Vikøren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Even Røv left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brøndby FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. With a little luck, Brøndby FK's Daniel Vikøren got control of the ball when Jo Asheim tried to sneak it across the goal line. Brøndby FK's Daniel Vikøren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Brøndby FK from getting a goal against them.
