Spectators: 7598 (Terracing: 5700, Seating: 1747, VIP seats: 151) Hans-Martin Rødsjø made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 4th minute Andreas Aurdal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erling Kjos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hans-Martin Rødsjø fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vidar Meek having to interfere. Vidar Meek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans-Martin Rødsjø, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Jørgen Haddelands short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Vidar Meek to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Hans-Martin Rødsjø had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jørgen Haddeland blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vidar Meek having to make a save. Erling Kjos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Aurdal in the 42nd minute of play. Andreas Aurdal might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erling Kjos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andreas Aurdal ran back to his position shaking his head. Christian Aanestad hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Tertnes IF's Vidar Meek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans-Martin Rødsjø in the 49th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christian Aanestad to make the kick off. Josef Løge kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the game, Max Langli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tertnes IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kvanvig the free kick. In the 64th match minute, Kvanvig was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens Storebø to maneuver through the defense. Andreas Aurdal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Erling Kjos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erling Kjos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Aanestad, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute, Hans-Martin Rødsjø ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vidar Meek was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 76th match minute, Kvanvig was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geir Heide to maneuver through the defense. When Christian Aanestad came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Tertnes IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Aanestad couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Tertnes IF booed when Kvanvig was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens Storebø didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sivert Nikolaisen was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 80th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Christian Aanestad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Erling Kjos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Aanestad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 97thth minute of the game Christian Aanestad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kvanvig's Erling Kjos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 98 minutes, Erling Kjos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Kvanvig were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Tertnes IF for a fine match.
