Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Børge Farestveit got the match started through his kick off. Røde Horn Fotball Kluben's Kenneth Larssen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Terje Horgen in the 4th minute of play. Olaf Braut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenneth Larssen having to interfere. Kenneth Larssen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Terje Horgen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filip Vanvik charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filip Vanvik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 13 minutes into the match, Midbrød's goalkeeper Roy Bastiansen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henrik Nybakk. Olaf Braut struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Kenneth Larssen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Midbrød. 22 minutes into the match, Henrik Nybakk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roy Bastiansen. Midbrød's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henrik Nybakk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Olaf Braut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Kenneth Larssen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Midbrød's goalkeeper Roy Bastiansen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henrik Nybakk. In the 33rd minute, Henrik Nybakk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Røde Horn Fotball Kluben fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Olaf Braut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenneth Larssen having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Børge Farestveit managed to get in a good position for a shot. Røde Horn Fotball Kluben's supporters rose to their feet, but Børge Farestveit was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roy Bastiansen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Terje Horgen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenneth Larssen having to interfere. Olaf Braut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the match, Midbrød's Terje Horgen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kenneth Larssen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Roy Bastiansen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Børge Farestveit in the 65th minute of play. Henrik Nybakk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roy Bastiansen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Børge Farestveit in the 70th minute of the match. Kenneth Larssen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olaf Braut, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Terje Horgen kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute. Though ot was a great shot Røde Horn Fotball Kluben's keeper Kenneth Larssen was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Terje Horgen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Kenneth Larssen made a huge save. Røde Horn Fotball Kluben's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Terje Horgen scored to the left of an out of position Kenneth Larssen, making the score, 3-1. 91 minutes into the match, Midbrød's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Vanvik came free, but Roy Bastiansen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Daniel Ovesen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
