Spectators: 5735 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Terje Horgen made the kick off which started today's match. In the 7th match minute, Midbrød was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marius Dybvik to maneuver through the defense. After 9 minutes, Oddvar Størdal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Midbrød and the Kurre FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 11 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Midbrød! The referee gave Kurre FC a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sture Hjelseth, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Midbrød's Roy Bastiansen. 0-1. Gabriel Lyngås fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roy Bastiansen having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Kurre FC's goal looked a bit too open when Terje Horgen came free, but Ådne Nordhus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Oscar Tungland's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roy Bastiansen was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Midbrød's Roy Bastiansen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stian Nyborg in the 29th minute of play. With a little luck, Kurre FC's Ådne Nordhus got control of the ball when Terje Horgen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ådne Nordhus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olaf Braut in the 32nd minute of play. Midbrød's Terje Horgen got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olaf Braut might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ådne Nordhus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olaf Braut ran back to his position shaking his head. Roy Bastiansen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Lyngås in the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Oscar Tungland ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roy Bastiansen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Stian Nyborg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Kurre FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabriel Lyngås made a kick off. If Daniel Ovesen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olaf Braut might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ådne Nordhus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olaf Braut ran back to his position shaking his head. Marius Dybvik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ådne Nordhus having to interfere. Midbrød's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Stian Nyborg scored to the left of an out of position Roy Bastiansen, making the score, 0-3. Terje Horgen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 71 minutes into the game, Stian Nyborg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Roy Bastiansen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Terje Horgen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marius Dybvik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Ådne Nordhus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kurre FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Midbrød's much stronger midfield.
