Iver Lohne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Francisco Lerin made a huge save. After 9 played minutes Åfarnes got a freekick which was hit by Timmy Svanberg. Tor-Kristian Nilssen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Truls Lervåg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexander Barstad kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Francisco Lerin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Taranger in the 18th minute of play. Åfarnes's Edvard Weum got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, Ongeltveit's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Barstad came free, but Truls Lervåg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Åfarnes's zone, Lennart Weiseth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Lerin came out of the goal and Lennart Weiseth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tor-Kristian Nilssen in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Truls Lervåg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Tor-Kristian Nilssen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Truls Lervåg was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Åfarnes's Francisco Lerin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Åfarnes from getting a goal against them. 30 minutes into the match, Ongeltveit's goal looked a bit too open when Tor-Kristian Nilssen came free, but Truls Lervåg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Åfarnes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tor-Kristian Nilssen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Truls Lervåg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Barstad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Tor-Kristian Nilssen made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Ongeltveit's Truls Lervåg got control of the ball when Tor-Kristian Nilssen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edvard Weum took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Truls Lervåg. Truls Lervåg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Åfarnes's Kjetil Løvik got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute Iver Lohne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Lerin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Truls Lervåg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Åfarnes. Tor-Kristian Nilssen in the 90thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Truls Lervåg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 94 minutes into the match, Tor-Kristian Nilssen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Truls Lervåg, 1-3. The Ongeltveit fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Åfarnes were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
