In the 3rd match minute, Storslett was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ørjan Eidsvåg to maneuver through the defense. Jon Samdal who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Mikael Ramsøy when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Heyerdahl during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th match minute, Storslett was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Heyerdahl to maneuver through the defense. Polonia Lillehammer's Jon Samdal got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 17th minute, Polonia Lillehammer's Arrigo Di Renzo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mikael Ramsøy. Mikael Ramsøy yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Mikael Ramsøy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arrigo Di Renzo's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the match, Jon Samdal notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Storslett's Mikael Ramsøy. Mikael Ramsøy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 29th minute, Jon Samdal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mikael Ramsøy was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Jan-Kenneth Borgersen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Mikael Ramsøy skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 37 minutes into the match, Storslett's goal looked a bit too open when Arrigo Di Renzo came free, but Mikael Ramsøy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 40 minutes, Jon Samdal made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Storslett's Mikael Ramsøy tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Storslett's Martin Heyerdahl got his second yellow card of the match in the 43rd minute. The referee ordered Martin Heyerdahl off the ground. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arrigo Di Renzo was the one to do the kick off. Jon Samdal took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mikael Ramsøy. Mikael Ramsøy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jon Samdal in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mikael Ramsøy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Arild Svanes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mikael Ramsøy came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Polonia Lillehammer's Jon Samdal. But to his dismay, Jon Samdal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 67th minute, Jon Samdal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mikael Ramsøy was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jon Samdal in the 70th minute of play forced Storslett's goalkeeper Mikael Ramsøy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mikael Ramsøy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mikael Ramsøy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arrigo Di Renzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 88 played minutes Storslett got a freekick which was hit by Christian Frogner. Mikael Ramsøy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jon Samdal in the 94th minute of the match. In the 98thth minute of the game Jon Samdal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Storslett's Mikael Ramsøy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
