Spectators: 6782 (Terracing: 5001, Seating: 1741, VIP seats: 40) Eirik Thorvaldsen started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Christoffer Riis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fundingsland's supporters rose to their feet, but Christoffer Riis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gjøran Espeseth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eikje's Eirik Thorvaldsen got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 11th minute by Ingvar Åsland got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gjøran Espeseth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christoffer Riis, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Christoffer Riis was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 19th minute. Fundingsland's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Eirik Thorvaldsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgard Vogt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eirik Thorvaldsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute, Kristoffer Solsvik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christer Aae sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ingvar Åsland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gjøran Espeseth having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Fundingsland's zone, Christer Aae stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgard Vogt came out of the goal and Christer Aae tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 48 minutes into the match, Fundingsland's goal looked a bit too open when Eirik Thorvaldsen came free, but Edgard Vogt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Christoffer Riis made the kick off in the second half. Gjøran Espeseth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoffer Riis in the 53rd minute of play. Bent Bugten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Fundingsland's Edgard Vogt got control of the ball when Christer Aae tried to sneak it across the goal line. Christer Aae hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After 70 minutes, Ingvar Åsland made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Eikje's Gjøran Espeseth tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Eikje's Gjøran Espeseth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoffer Riis in the 74th minute of play. Kristen Sørlie kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Eikje's Eirik Thorvaldsen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edgard Vogt. Edgard Vogt yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christoffer Riis in the 81st minute of play forced Eikje's goalkeeper Gjøran Espeseth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Christer Aae had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 92 minutes, Christoffer Riis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fundingsland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christoffer Riis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 96 played minutes Fundingsland got a freekick which was hit by Kristoffer Solsvik. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
