Seating: 1750, VIP seats: 0) Fundingsland's Christoffer Riis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Eirik Thorvaldsen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edgard Vogt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eirik Thorvaldsen in the 8th minute of the match. If Christoffer Riis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gjøran Espeseth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoffer Riis in the 14th minute of play. With a little luck, Fundingsland's Edgard Vogt got control of the ball when Christer Aae tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17th minute Eirik Thorvaldsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard Vogt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgard Vogt was a little too slow when Eirik Thorvaldsen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 1-0. Eirik Thorvaldsen in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Edgard Vogt, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Edgard Vogt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eirik Thorvaldsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ingvar Åsland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gjøran Espeseth came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Fundingsland's Christoffer Riis. But to his dismay, Christoffer Riis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eirik Thorvaldsen made a kick off. Gjøran Espeseth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christoffer Riis went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Gjøran Espeseth made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Ingvar Åsland sent off a good shot on target. In the 61st minute, Christoffer Riis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gjøran Espeseth was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 65th minute, Christoffer Riis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the match, Eikje's goal looked a bit too open when Christoffer Riis came free, but Gjøran Espeseth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Fundingsland's goal looked a bit too open when Christer Aae came free, but Edgard Vogt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eirik Thorvaldsen in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgard Vogt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Eirik Thorvaldsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the match, Eikje's goalkeeper Gjøran Espeseth had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ingvar Åsland. Steffen Schjerven charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Steffen Schjerven the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Eikje's Steffen Schjerven got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Gjøran Espeseth was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jørgen Hestetun. Gjøran Espeseth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christoffer Riis in the 97th minute of the match. The Fundingsland players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
