Kåre Midthun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bean D'Avis having to interfere. Bean D'Avis made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Andreas Rishaug sent off a good shot on target. In the 11th minute, Wilhelm Palm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the game, one of Hippopotamus Amphibius FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 20th minute, Mats Kaasa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sigurd Grønning in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexander Sigurdsen saved Hippopotamus Amphibius FC from getting behind. Ronny Sæternes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronny Sæternes in the 35th minute of play forced Naeverfjord's goalkeeper Bean D'Avis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andreas Rishaug could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Bean D'Avis made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Andreas Rishaug kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bean D'Avis. That made the score 1-1 in the 42 minute of play.

A hard shot 56 in the game by Sigurd Grønning from a close distance when the talented Alexander Sigurdsen managed to make a qualified save. Hippopotamus Amphibius FC's players were relieved. Alexander Sigurdsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bendik Hjelde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sigurd Grønning in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexander Sigurdsen saved Hippopotamus Amphibius FC from getting behind. Alexander Sigurdsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sigurd Grønning in the 63rd minute. Bean D'Avis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Rishaug, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sigurd Grønning charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sigurd Grønning the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ronny Sæternes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bean D'Avis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Ronny Sæternes kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Andreas Rishaug recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexander Sigurdsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sigurd Grønning's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Andreas Rishaug struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Bean D'Avis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hippopotamus Amphibius FC. Sigurd Grønning in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alexander Sigurdsen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
