Spectators: 7543 (Terracing: 5659, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ole-Gunnar Børresen started the match with the kick off. 8 minutes into the game, Thomas Pedersen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Laurits Holmstrøm was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ole-Gunnar Børresen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laurits Holmstrøm didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kjetil Begum went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Skogbygda IF's zone, Ole-Gunnar Børresen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laurits Holmstrøm came out of the goal and Ole-Gunnar Børresen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 23 minutes into the match, Skogbygda IF's goal looked a bit too open when Ole-Gunnar Børresen came free, but Laurits Holmstrøm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jon Bui made an important save on a dangerous shot by Runar Garberg in the 27th minute. Oksdøl:s Jon Bui showed great skill when he stopped Eilert Nilssen:s penalty. After 31 minutes of play, Skogbygda IF's Eilert Nilssen made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jon Bui was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Oksdøl's Ole-Gunnar Børresen in 34 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Laurits Holmstrøm guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Tobias Bernhardsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oksdøl's supporters rose to their feet, but Tobias Bernhardsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laurits Holmstrøm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Laurits Holmstrøm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Bernhardsen in the 41st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ole-Gunnar Børresen in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laurits Holmstrøm saved Skogbygda IF from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Skogbygda IF's Runar Garberg got a free kick in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jan Bremnes made a kick off. Jon Bui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Runar Garberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. When Jan Bremnes came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Skogbygda IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan Bremnes couldn't finish the play. 64 minutes into the game, Kjetil Begum was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oksdøl's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skogbygda IF the free kick. Skogbygda IF's Eilert Nilssen took a good shot, in the 65th minute, which hit the crossbar above Jon Bui's head, and flew over the goal. Oksdøl's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Skogbygda IF. Jon Bui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Sandtorv in the 68th minute of play. Tobias Bernhardsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Laurits Holmstrøm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st match minute, Oksdøl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Bernhardsen to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Oksdøl booed when Skogbygda IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Bremnes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 76 minutes of play, Skogbygda IF's Jan Bremnes made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jon Bui was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anton Osman hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Laurits Holmstrøm didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ole-Gunnar Børresen went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. Kjetil Begum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurits Holmstrøm having to interfere. After having played for 95 minutes, Tobias Bernhardsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oksdøl's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tobias Bernhardsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oksdøl played a much better game than Skogbygda IF and deserved their victory. The Skogbygda IF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
