When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Ingvar Molstad put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Øyvind Rognerud. 17 minutes into the match, Gaulavik BF's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Kirkerud came free, but Ingar Kjølberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Otterstad in the 18th minute of play forced Kautokeino FK's goalkeeper Øyvind Rognerud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ingvar Molstad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Gaulavik BF's Yngvar Andresen got a free kick in the 29th minute. Per Naas kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. David Otterstad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for David Otterstad to strike the kick off in the second half. Ingvar Molstad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ingar Kjølberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kristian Nybø showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 61 minute of play. Kristian Nybø fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingar Kjølberg having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Otterstad in the 73rd minute of play forced Kautokeino FK's goalkeeper Øyvind Rognerud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Per Naas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Øyvind Rognerud having to interfere. Øyvind Rognerud came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Gaulavik BF's David Otterstad. But to his dismay, David Otterstad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. If Ingvar Molstad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute David Otterstad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Øyvind Rognerud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Martin Kirkerud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amund Øvstebø kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match.
