When Thor Vanvik came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Ramsaa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thor Vanvik couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thor Vanvik in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Idar Eikrem saved CSI Rangers from getting behind. In the 29th minute, Gjøran Helleland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christoffer Granmo during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gjøran Helleland in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Idar Eikrem saved CSI Rangers from getting behind. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thor Vanvik to make the kick off. With a little luck, CSI Rangers's Idar Eikrem got control of the ball when Thor Vanvik tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gjøran Helleland was extremely unlucky when he, in the 66th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Alexander Storøy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Atle Fjeld tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in CSI Rangers's zone, Gjøran Helleland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Idar Eikrem came out of the goal and Gjøran Helleland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. CSI Rangers's Idar Eikrem proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save CSI Rangers from getting a goal against them. When the match was over Ramsaa could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than CSI Rangers throughout the match.
