Spectators: 6728 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 0) CSI Rangers's Espen Mellemstrand started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Espen Mellemstrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 9 minutes into the game, Christoffer Granmo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sture Aspenes. Christoffer Granmo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Sture Aspenes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Espen Mellemstrand's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. CSI Rangers's Alexander Storøy got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 14th minute, Espen Mellemstrand made a precise shot to the right of Sture Aspenes. Oredalen FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Sture Aspenes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Espen Mellemstrand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oredalen FK's Sture Aspenes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Espen Mellemstrand in the 19th minute of play. If Espen Mellemstrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, Alexander Storøy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sture Aspenes. Oredalen FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexander Storøy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After 39 played minutes CSI Rangers got a freekick which was hit by Christoffer Granmo. 41 minutes into the match, Oredalen FK's goal looked a bit too open when Espen Mellemstrand came free, but Sture Aspenes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christoffer Sakariassen made a kick off. After a rather tough play, CSI Rangers's Alexander Storøy got a free kick in the 54th minute. Sture Aspenes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Storøy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Alexander Storøy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the match, Espen Mellemstrand had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sture Aspenes. Oredalen FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Espen Mellemstrand was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Espen Mellemstrand managed to get in a good position for a shot. CSI Rangers's supporters rose to their feet, but Espen Mellemstrand was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sture Aspenes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alexander Storøy might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sture Aspenes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alexander Storøy ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Espen Mellemstrand in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sture Aspenes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Alexander Storøy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sture Aspenes was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Espen Mellemstrand took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sture Aspenes. Sture Aspenes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. After a defensive mix-up in Oredalen FK's zone, Alexander Storøy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sture Aspenes came out of the goal and Alexander Storøy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Espen Mellemstrand scored 7-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sture Aspenes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sture Aspenes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Espen Mellemstrand, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Oredalen FK's goalkeeper Sture Aspenes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of CSI Rangers booed when Oredalen FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Schau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sture Aspenes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Espen Mellemstrand in the 95th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. CSI Rangers had played much better football throughout.
